With the use of a smartphone, a new era of music and gaming has unraveled. In an attempt to join the mobile networking fad, GameChanger World created a platform connecting fans with artists through video games. This allows artists to network while fans enjoy exciting games playing against artists they love. Fans also gain access to band and concert information right from their smartphones.
Differing from console games, this gaming platform focuses on entertainment, rather than simply defeating the game. One of the games offered, which was designed around Travis Mills, is similar to “Temple Run” and will reward the highest-scored players with prizes including, concert tickets, VIP packages and T-shirts.
The games were released on May 18-19th at the Skate and Surf Festival, where fans were allotted time to play against artists and bands such as, Fall Out Boy, Macklemore and Ryan Lewis. The games will soon be released to the public.
